Marc Columbus, Headmaster
Little Keswick School, Keswick, VA

Having worked with Lynn Bell Pechuekonis through our UVA Curry School connection, I recognized that we stumbled upon a goldmine when we began to use Lynn as our school copywriter. While Little Keswick School  has a wide network and international reputation, we are still small and there was no one identified on staff solely to write and proof. Lynn’s eye for detail and true understanding of our mission is a valuable combination. She adds color to her literary pieces by interviewing parents, board members and staff, thereby making our school come alive to the reader. I can call on Lynn anytime and count on her work to be timely, professional and crafted with heart.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lynn for more than 8 years. She is an excellent writer and editor, attentive to the goals, audience and appropriate voice for each piece. Our work together has included brochures, annual reports, magazine and newsletter articles, website content, grant proposals, speeches, and presentations. She is a great listener, and that is reflected in her work. She always asks the right questions, whether it is to understand the project assignment, or interview people to develop content. I trust her judgment and her writing. It’s a pleasure to work with her, and I highly recommend her!

“Lynn excels at listening and asking the right questions in order to produce a story that is compelling and grabs the reader. She is also well organized, skilled at managing large publication projects and a pleasure to work with.”

I have admired the high quality performance of Lynn Pechuekonis for many years from the perspective of a Curry School Foundation board member and devoted Curry School alum. If you are seeking a professional to elevate the stature of your organization, particularly one which serves a valuable educational mission, Lynn will do that for you over and over. Her style is crisp, clear, and caring. She especially has a keen ability to convey the human spirit and responsiveness of the organizations with whom she’s aligned.”

Lynn is dependable and responsible, and effective in coordinating projects involving complex logistics. She recently coordinated the current design of the journal’s web interface, which required coordination of efforts involving user-interface design, graphic design, and web design. Lynn did an exemplary job of managing both the technical issues and of achieving consensus across the respective stakeholders from the five educational associations that sponsor the journal. She is a strong asset for any initiative.
